WEB DESIGN

Liisweb.com

The official website for Liis Windischmann, an internationally famous top plus-size model. Liis approached me to help her find a intuative, user friendly solution to display her portfolio of modeling photos. After researching a solution I was able to develop a simple sitemap architecture, website interface design and unique branding campaign for her. I used Javascript technology to display her photos.

Rogers Challenge

The Rogers Challenge competition started on November 1, 2005 and continued until March 31, 2006, the Closing Date. All full time and part time employees of Rogers Wireless Partnership (“Rogers”) with the exception of employees from the call centers within specific regions in Canada were automatically entered into a sales competition. What to look for in a Web Designer

Someone who
• If he or she is a professional, provides you with references of satisfied clients
• Provides you with examples of online work
• Is committed to carrying over your printed publications "style" into the web site design
• Speaks in as non-technical terms as possible
• Is committed to creating a site that someone in-house or a volunteer can make regular changes to without needing assistance of the designer
• Is willing to work with staff and volunteers in the web site development, listening to their wants and needs for the site
• Turns over ownership of all graphics created for the site to you
• Has a history of working with not-for-profit or public sector organizations, understanding such organization's limited resources, unique needs and community focus

Thanks,
Ed Cabral
